Dr. Dre Sues Death Row Records Over Royalties
Fourteen years ago Dr. Dre (Andre Young) left Death Row Records which was historically and notoriously known as the staple of west coast hip hop in the early to mid 90s. Now, Dr. Dre is suing the lable now owned by WIDEawake Entertainment, over royalties. WIDEawake Entertainment recently re-released the hip hop classic album "The Chronic" without his permission. He is seeking $75,000 for breach of contract, false advertisement and trademark infringement. My only question, Dre do you really need $75K? Hey, it's a reccession and I guess every buck counts. Kitchen 24
If you party hard one can work up an appetite by the time the is club over. Where do you eat in Hollywood? Option one, the corner lady that cooks hot dogs wrapped in bacon outside of the club are available, but that includes severe heartburn in waking hours of the morning. I'll pass. Or hit one of the terrible pizza spots that Hollywood has to offer, just to be pissed off because you wasted money on tomato paste and cheese bread. The popular late night restaurants such as Berrie's or Bossinova are great, but the wait could be tedious. My choice is Kitchen 24; it has become one of my favorite after hour spots to grub. The service is decent, its local, and the food is enjoyable. There's usually a well mixed crowd too. Menu suggestions are Citrus Pineapple Chicken Wings if you decide to check it out.
Cool LA
Los Angeles is commonly known for its notorious sunny skies and oceanic warm weather. But like other parts of the United States we encounter climate change as we approach each season. This winter we've seen our fair share of rain and brisk tempetures that causes you to layer up while hitting the streets. This weather is also known urbanly as "Cup Cake Weather". Get your "cuddle buddy" and bundle up tight 6 more weeks of winter lies ahead.
Down Time
Calvin and I are no strangers to the party atmosphere in Los Angeles. When parting we tend to drink heavy. There's nothing wrong with getting "wasted" from time to time, but it also can take a heavy toll on your body. So we're starting things off a little differently this year and going easy at the bar. This is an attempt to restore our health by eating right and going to the gym regularly. We still chill at the bar, but take notice of the water with lemon. Cleanse your Pallet from time to time. It Helps.
